THEATRE ARTS FOR LITTLE ONES
(AGES 4-7)

In this class, students will discover their imagination through creative play, theatre games, pantomime, movement and storytelling.  Children will gain social skills in self-confidence, self-expression and self-esteem in a safe and nurturing environment.  Individual attention, team building and even leadership skills help children to develop socially, improve reading and communication skills, focus and concentration, coordination, creativity; all while having so much fun!!  At the end of the semester, students will gain experience in rehearsal and final performance.
 

ACTING CLASS FOR KIDS
(AGES 8-12)

 This theatre class is a perfect after school activity for students to discover their creativity, imagination and individuality in a fun loving, social environment.  Children learn the art of performance through theatre games, movement, improvisation, storytelling and children’s literature.  This class develops a child’s self-awareness, confidence, stage presence, team building and leadership abilities.  Your child will gain communication skills, memorization and self-expression; while learning to create a group project culminating in rehearsal and a final performance.

 

ACTING FOR TEENS
(AGES 13-17)

This acting class welcomes all levels of students from the beginning actor to young talent already pursuing the performing arts.  Acting technique is vital to any young performer whether they are pursuing acting, vocal arts, dance, music or school achievements.  This class introduces the art of storytelling through basic theatre games, improvisation and theatre exercises.  Students learn how to work individually and with each other in a highly creative and supportive environment; making new friends and having fun! This class will help students discover their unique and individual talents.  Students will study scripts, learn how to create a role, prepare, rehearse and perform in a final show. *Private audition coaching sessions are available on appointment.

ADULT ACTING CLASSES
(Ages 19-99)

 All levels of experience are welcome to explore and develop their interest and talent, whether you have always had a secret dream to try acting or you are currently pursuing a career and looking for a local studio to continue developing as an artist or for your profession.  Students will gain acting techniques in preparing a role through theatre exercises, improvisation, scene study, rehearsal and performance.  This is a highly creative and supportive environment.  Students benefit from working as a group, as well as with scene partners.  This class is perfect for those seeking an introduction to the acting craft, are already pursuing the performing arts and need to gain acting skills, or are in a related or non-related field but wish to acquire skills in other creative endeavors, communications, public speaking, sales or business.   A commitment to preparation and attendance is expected for the class.  Final performance will culminate in a showcase of scene work.  *Private coaching sessions are available upon appointment.

PRIVATE COACHING SESSIONS

FOR THE PERFORMER OR BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL
(Ages 5 to Adult)

 Private coaching sessions are for the purposes of the student to receive individual attention on their talent and abilities as an artist, performer and professional.  Young students pursuing the arts, advance rapidly from training in this nurturing personal dynamic.  The young artist discovers their individual talent, strengthens their unique abilities and confidence, while developing technique with a personal coach; in preparation for auditions, performance or competition. *Personal coaching can include accompanying younger students to auditions with parents.  For more advance artists, these sessions are perfect preparation and personalized for anyone pursuing acting and/or the performing arts.  These coaching sessions also benefit those wanting to advance their careers in business, sales, public speaking, management, or law; in preparation for an event or any form of motivational speaking and can include accent reduction.  Working in this dynamic with a coach, can be highly personal, motivating and confidential.  All levels are welcome. *Initial interview required for these sessions.

 PRIVATE ACTING INTENSIVE
(ADULT ACTING WORKSHOP)

 This private acting class is for the serious artist who is committed to developing their craft as an actor and/or performing artist.  This class is a high-intensive training workshop, with a private teacher/coach who has trained in Method technique (as developed by Konstantin Stanislavsky and Lee Strasburg) for the last 15 years in NYC privately, as well as earning her advance degree at the Actors Studio. (See Bio)  Her work spans a total of 25 years experience in theatre, film and television.  Students will explore and discover their talent, developing their craft, in this highly creative disciplined environment.  This workshop setting is perfect for those who have the passion and drive to pursue acting, the performing arts and/or are seriously seeking training in their field.  Artists have the advantage of training locally for the Boston market.  Class attendance, preparation and rehearsal work is mandatory, resulting in a final performance.  *Interview is required for this class. Private coaching sessions are available by appointment.

Pricing
Children group classes:
  1 hour class per week: $249 per semester (5 months) or $55 x 5 (five installments)
  2 hour class per week: $498 per semester (5 months) or $110 x 5 (five installments)

Adult group classes:
  3 hour class per week: $719 per semester (5 months) or $158 x 5 (five installments)
